The rule every review keeps
A review of Lekhio is a real person, writing in their own words about their own experience of Lekhio, with their yes to show it. A star rating on its own counts as a review, and everything on this page applies to it.
So we never:
- Make up a review, a reviewer or a star rating.
- Pay for a review, or reward one with money, a discount, a free month, a gift or anything else, whatever it says.
- Write a review, or any part of one, for somebody else to put their name to.
- Offer you anything to change your review or to take it down.
How we ask
Inside Lekhio, everyone is asked the same way, with the same words. Today that ask is one line in our weekly email: how is Lekhio doing for you, good or bad. It comes no sooner than four weeks after you join, then every four weeks, and it stops once you have written a review for us in your Lekhio. Switch the weekly email off and the ask goes with it.
Nobody is picked for that ask because we think they are happy, and nobody is left out because we think they are not. We never ask how you feel first and then send only the happy answers on to a review.
You can also write one whenever you like, under You in your Lekhio, and take it back there in one tap.
Sometimes somebody gives one of us a review directly instead. We type it in word for word, and only with their yes in writing. A review we type in is not tied to your account, so it does not stop the weekly ask.
Before a review goes up
A person at Lekhio reads every review and decides whether it goes on our site, and nothing you write goes anywhere until then. When you write one in your Lekhio, your name and your trade go under it only if you switch them on. With both off, it reads as from a Lekhio user.
What we take down, and why
We take a review down when:
- You ask us to. Your own review comes down in one tap from the page you wrote it on, and it is off our site within a few minutes. If one of us typed your review in for you, email info@lekhio.app and we take it down.
- It is not about a real experience of Lekhio, or we cannot link it to a real person who has used Lekhio.
- It was made up, paid for or rewarded, by anybody.
- The person who wrote it works for Lekhio, sells Lekhio for us, owns part of the company, or is close family of somebody who does. People that close to us do not review Lekhio here.
- It gives away private details about somebody else, such as their name, their phone number or their address.
- It is abusive, threatening or hateful, or it breaks the law.
A low star rating is never a reason to take a review down, and nor is a review that is critical of us.
A review is not a complaint
If your review says something went wrong, it is still a review, and a complaint never stops a review being published. If you want us to put something right, email info@lekhio.app and tell us what happened. Putting it right never depends on you changing your review or taking it down.
Think a review is fake?
If you think a review on our site is made up, paid for, or written by somebody close to Lekhio, email info@lekhio.app. Tell us which review, by the name and the words on it, and why you think so. You do not need an account. A person reads every report, and if we cannot stand behind a review, it comes down.
Ratings of the Lekhio app in the app stores are run by the stores, under their own rules. To report one there, use the store's own report option.
